Iโm pleased to have a small part in the new BBC comedy series Twenty Twenty Six, playing Ben Stratton, a news anchor at CNC News.
The six-part series comes from writer and director John Morton, the team behind the acclaimed comedies Twenty Twelve and W1A. This time, the mockumentary moves into the world of the 2026 World Cup, following the people tasked with organising the tournament.
The series stars Hugh Bonneville, Hugh Skinner and a large ensemble cast, with David Tennant returning as narrator.
Twenty Twenty Six begins on BBC Two on 8 April, with the episodes also available on BBC iPlayer.
The best thing about this shoot for me was catching up with Hugh Skinner, who I hadnโt seen since we worked together on Day of the Dead almost 20 years ago! It was a real joy to see him again.
So, if you fancy some dry BBC comedy, football, bureaucracy and people trying to make sense of an increasingly complicated world, Twenty Twenty Six starts on 8 April.
